We are a department under the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) devoted to Media and Communication Studies. We believe in an educational approach that is personalized, technologically updated and centered on active learning. We uphold a curriculum that is flexible, relevant and balanced in terms of theory and practice- a curriculum that is grounded in both global and local contexts.

We are aware of our role as translators of knowledge and shapers of change. As such, our educational approach is always underpinned by scholarship. We are committed to producing graduates who are open minded, well informed, well prepared and analytical in thinking. We strive to instill in our students a lifelong love for learning.

Goal Statement: To continuously produce graduates who are globally competitive, critical in thinking, problem solvers, excellent communicators and professional through a curriculum that is relevant, balanced, liberal arts-based and devoted to communication and media studies with faculties who are excellent generators and disseminators of knowledge, interdisciplinary in approach and updated in their fields of expertise and with facilities that are technologically updated, multimedia oriented, conducive to learning and supportive of research.
