ShutterBugs’ photo exhibition held

Professor Dr Jude William Genilo, Head of MSJ, and Kh Azizur Rahman, a photojournalist of The Daily Independent, jointly inaugurating the two-day photo exhibition, titled “Soul and Metal”. MSJ faculty members and students were present.

 

SutterBugs, a photography apprenticeship programme of Media Studies and Journalism (MSJ) department at ULAB, has recently organised a two-day photo exhibition on the university’s permanent campus.

The main purpose of the event was to showcase the excellent works of the members of ShutterBugs.

Professor Dr Jude William Genilo, Head of MSJ, and Kh Azizur Rahman, a photojournalist of The Daily Independent, jointly inaugurated the two-day exhibition, titled “Soul and Metal”, on 27 March.

The opening day of the exhibition also featured a photo discussion. Kh Azizur Rahman attended the session as a discussant. MSJ faculty members and stduents were present at that time.

On the final day on 28 March, awards and certificates were distributed among the ShutterBugs members for their wonderful work with lens.

The two-day event came to a close with a vote of thanks by Muhammad Aminuzzaman, the adviser of ShutterBugs.

The Universityof Liberal Arts Bangladesh and its curricula are accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh, and approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh.
