MSJ Freshers’ Orientation Fall’ 19 Held at ULAB

The Department of Media studies and Journalism (MSJ) of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) hosted an orientation program for the freshers for the Fall 2019 on October 17, at the seminar room of the university’s Campus B. The program was designed to provide the students with information that allowed them to know more about the department.

The ceremony started with a warm welcome speech delivered by Head of the Department Dr. Jude William Genilo. In his speech Dr. Genilo encouraged the new comers to look forward to their university life.

The Undergraduate Program Coordinator and Senior Lecturer Nandita Tabassum Khan then shared the history and mission of the department. Other faculty members and admin officers also introduced themselves to the students.

The program ended with the showcasing of a video session with contents produced by the senior students of the department in order to excite the freshers in their journey in this department.

The program was organized by ULAB’s very own apprenticeship program PR4U.

The Universityof Liberal Arts Bangladesh and its curricula are accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh, and approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh.
